THE STORY OF AURORA
She is Dawn, Aurora, Zora*, Zarja, Zorica, Zorka, Zorana… Since the beginning of time she walks through all of the world, amongst all of the peoples. Hers is the name of light, the first morning light, and the last light of the day. She rises crimson and fades slowly into a warm rosy colour of the sky, beyond the mountains, on the horizon of the sea, in the mirrors of lakes and rivers, amongst the dark tree crowns of the forests, along the edges of deserts and icy wastelands. She is the light that lives in us, and lives at the beginning of every day, lives in the hope that all will be better, because there was never a night that lasted past dawn.
